Projects Overview
Ormonde Mining Plc is an AIM & ESM listed mineral resource company which is developing mining projects and carrying out exploration in Spain.
- The Barruecopardo Tungsten Project - this world class tungsten project is scheduled to be developed during 2013. Once in full production it will deliver ~12% of current non-chinese world tungsten concentrate supply.
- Gold exploration in several highly prospective areas of western Spain.
- The La Zarza Copper-Gold Project - a large “massive sulphide” deposit with significant copper, gold and zinc resources.
Barruecopardo Tungsten Project
Ormonde’s 100% owned Barruecopardo Tungsten Project in western Spain is one of the premier undeveloped tungsten projects in the World. A Definitive Feasibility Study has been completed on the project (Feb'12), development is scheduled for 2013, with full production delivering ~12% of current non-Chinese global mine production.
La Zarza Project
La Zarza is a large “massive sulphide” deposit containing significant copper, gold and zinc resources, located in the Iberian Pyrite Belt mining district of southwest Spain.
Salamanca & Zamora Gold Exploration
Ormonde considers the Salamanca-Zamora area to be one of the most prospective gold terrains in Spain and is exploring this region for gold mineralisation associated with granites intruded into a variable sequence of meta-sediments. Ormonde's permits cover mineral prospects and occurrences with potential for high-grade vein-hosted and large, bulk tonnage low-grade deposits.
